Staying Flexible or On The Road Again

This morning didn't only start early but also with a late train that turned into a canceled train that turned into a different train connection altogether. After the frustration of not having control over trains, the joy of being on the road again surged slowly but surely. How many things have we been deprived from in the past 12 months and how many things do we still have to live without? So not having a smooth train connection is a first world problem at the moment I guess and nothing to stress about for too long. The sun is out. This train is moving. We are on the road again.

Into The Unknown

Yesterday I saw a friend I hadn't seen in a while and I told her that I had gone pregnant with a thought for a while. She started laughing at the expression since she, a South African lady, had never heard it before. For those who can't imagine the meaning of it: it means to think about something for a while and to see how that thought develops. Anyway! I told her that about a year ago I had started thinking about doing the Camino de Santiago. Now that thought has come to fruition. Despite the circumstances I have decided to do this walk with my friend C and to see what will happen. There were a few obsticles in the way as you can imagine with corona and all but it seems as if tomorrow we will be able to go to France. If you want to know more just check in once in a while. I'm sure that it will get quite interesting!

Escape

I handed in my BA thesis at the end of last year. After three years of studying and working, both things have come to an end. Well the job I still got but in about a month I'm planning on taking a break for some time to look back on these past three years. Where will I go and what will I do during that time? Stay tuned for more info toward the end of the month...
