Mt. Etna, Taormina, Ephesus

The last couple of weeks have been very nice. I really enjoyed the groups of kids we have had. Now the numbers are gradually going up since summer is coming and the kids are getting off school. The weather is getting better and better and obviously I really enjoy that :-). Nonetheless, I'm as pale as I was when I first got on the ship because I just don't have enough free time to just sit in the sun. As soon as I have the chance to get off the ship I usually go to find a free WiFi place where I can skype and update my blog and use the internet without looking at the time.

Today we are in Toulon, France. The weather is just beautiful and I'm taking the opportunity to sit at a McDonald's to upload some pictures from past trips.

I went to a vulcano called Mount Etna in Sicily. Here are some pictures of the beautiful scenery.

The volcano from afar

The crater from above. It is an active volcano and the sicilians are awaiting an arruption anytime.

My snack at Mt Etna: a canoli (italian specialty) and a red wine

curvy road down from the volcano

Taormina, a little cute town close to Messina, Sicily

Looking down from Taormina at the beautiful sea

Ephesus (or what's left of it)

A sign that this used to be a christian city

So you don't forget my face, here in Alexandria, Egypt
