Today is Sunday and we are not supposed to be leaving the house at all but who cares when you are in the country side? Apparently nobody. We took a walk in this beautiful area of Huayoccari in the middle of the day. The sun is hot, there is no sound of a car, just lots and lots of dogs that are either resting on the streets or running around looking for company.
Some people are out working their fields.
The corn is laying out to dry so it can be processed and sold later on. Similar to potatoes, there are about 5.000 different kinds of corn in the Andes.
I heard some geese gaggle and looked through the fence.
Jasmine is growing here, too.
The view from the house again. It doesn't get old to look at mountains.
